Sometimes it can be really difficult to find useful apps on the Android Market due to all of the spam, so we have compiled a short-list of 5 useful Android applications.

#1: Aquarium Pocket Guide (APG)

If you're a hobby or professional fish keeper, APG will be a perfect addition to your Android app installs. When you're out and about and spot a fish you would like to purchase, in cases where you know nothing about the particular species, you will go online and do a google search for the species, but 9 times out of 10, internet access is unavailable.

APG does not need internet access; you can do a quick search for the species or common name and find the information you need. It comes packed with over 600 species of freshwater, brackish, saltwater fish, plants and invertebrates.

Many of us use our devices at night when it is already very dark, this can be a problem for your eyesight and also make it difficult to fall asleep after you switch off.
Look no further, Twilight has you covered by filtering the blue light from your screen and dimming the brightness further than what is made possible with the standard Android brightness settings.
